The Financial Health Program offers the Individual Development Account Program (IDA). This program helps low-income families have an option to save and accumulate financial assets. It offers low-income families the ability to save for a 200% matched fund return plus the interest they earn on their monthly IDA saving deposit. Families can save for higher education or to buy a primary residential home.
The IDA Program offers:
- One-on-one budget counseling
- Asset-specific training
- Debt management (as needed)
- Account statements
- Matched funds (200% on a $1,000 savings ceiling/account)
The IDA Program can help you realize your dream to own a home or for higher education. Participating and working with your Budget Counselor also will help you gain valuable financial management skills.
