"We don't have much, but we want to start investing now."

The Financial Health Program offers Individual Development Accounts (IDA). This service helps low-income families have an option to save and accumulate financial assets. It offers low-income families the ability to save for a 200% matched fund return plus the interest they earn on their monthly IDA saving deposit. Families can save for higher education or to buy a primary residential home.

IDA services offers:

  • One-on-one budget counseling
  • Asset-specific training
  • Debt management (as needed)
  • Account statements
  • Confidentiality
  • Matched funds (200% on a $1,000 savings ceiling/account)

An Individual Development Account (IDA) can help you realize your dream to own a home or to pursue higher education. Participating and working with your Budget Counselor also will help you gain valuable financial management skills.
