Pregnancy/Birth Parent Services

At the core of our services to families and children are our birth parent counseling services. Catholic Charities staff are here to work beside parents as they explore their options: parenting and adoption. During their journey staff will provide personal support throughout and after the pregnancy as they create a plan that they believe is in their child’s best interest.

What Birthparent Services Does Catholic Charities offer?

  • Family, relationship and individual counseling
  • Education, including parenting, lifestyle, and nutrition
  • Information and referral to community resources
  • Information on adoption should the decision be made to create an adoption plan
  • Open adoption is available. Birth parents can select the family for their child.
