Spalding Golf Outing - Event Details

Save the Date: Annual Catholic Charities Spalding Golf Outing is July 15, 2013.

This outing began in 1992 with the tireless efforts of Fr. William Spalding. He was an ever present supporter of a day at the golf course working for a good cause. Fr. Bill Spalding left a legacy of care and concern for others to this Diocese and to all concerned about those who need hope and healing from the Church. This golf outing was just one way to keep a tradition of charity and a commitment to service in place for future generations and it has been successful beyond measure.

Fr. William Spalding was Director of Catholic Social Services from 1947-1963. Fr. Bill gave tirelessly of himself to build a strong agency built on Christian values to individuals, families, and the community. His leadership was visionary, his compassion for others without parallel. It was this leadership that guided Catholic Social Services, now known as Catholic Charities, to provide assistance, hope and healing to many who sought services as it does today.

Today, Fr. Bill’s commitment to services and excellence lives on in Catholic Charities. For 95 years, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Green Bay has been here providing services, throughout Northeastern Wisconsin, to your family, friends, and neighbors who have found themselves struggling with the challenges of life. Through its services, Catholic Charities is here to help answer the call.

“Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40
