Pastoral Care Ministry

Pastoral Care Ministry encompasses all one-to one ministries, actively bringing the love of God, through accompaniment, to persons who are suffering. Individuals provide support and confidential care to those who face trauma, crises, illness, loss, or other similar personal dilemmas. Jesus, the Good Shepherd, brings forth healing through all who reach out into their communities as His missionary disciples. It is in this, that Pastoral Care is first and foremost relational, because it is not sharing any thing, as it is sharing the love and care of a Person, Jesus..

We invite you to explore the pages of this Pastoral Care section where we can support you in the following:

  • Care Ministry
  • Faith Community Nursing (Parish Nurses)
  • Bereavement Ministry
  • Corrections Ministry
  • Disabilities and Deaf/HOH
  • Divorce Ministry
  • Support Resources for Pastoral Care Ministers in Parishes

And, if you have a personal need, or know someone who has a personal need in any of these areas, please reach out to us using the contact form below and we will do our best to put you in contact with someone who can journey with you in faith. You are not alone as you face life's challenges.

Prayer to St. Teresa of Calcutta, patron saint of Pastoral Care Ministry

Jesus, Tender Shepherd,

You have blessed us with the life and example of your servant, Saint Teresa of Calcutta.

May we follow her example of seeing You in all those in need, and respond by doing small things with great love.

We ask this in Your Name, Jesus. Amen.
